This artwork by Alice Rahon achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in November 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Los Gnomos, Leprechauns sold for USD 277,200.00 (€ 232,005.36) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alice Rahon; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Los Cuatro Hijos Del Arco Iris sold at auction in June 2020 with the realized price of USD 512,000.00 (€ 455,881.04).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alice Rahon erzielte im November 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Los Gnomos, Leprechauns für USD 277.200,00 (€ 232.005,36) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alice Rahon; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Los Cuatro Hijos Del Arco Iris im Juni 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 512.000,00 (€ 455.881,04).
