It achieved a price of USD 163,800.00 (€ 150,662.25), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 37%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alice Rahon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Los Cuatro Hijos Del Arco Iris, which sold at auction in June 2020 for USD 512,000.00 (€ 455,881.04).

Die Arbeit Sur le pont de I’amour von Alice Rahon kam im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 163.800,00 (€ 150.662,25) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 37%. Für andere Arbeiten von Alice Rahon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Los Cuatro Hijos Del Arco Iris beobachtet, die im Juni 2020 für USD 512.000,00 (€ 455.881,04) versteigert wurde.
