This work without title by Alice Rahon was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in September last year. The »bidding war« ended at USD 60,480.00 (€ 61,821.53), 73% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alice Rahon have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Los Cuatro Hijos Del Arco Iris in June 2020 with an auction result of USD 512,000.00 (€ 455,881.04).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alice Rahon wurde im September letzten Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 60.480,00 (€ 61.821,53) und damit 73% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alice Rahon auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Los Cuatro Hijos Del Arco Iris im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 512.000,00 (€ 455.881,04).
