Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Golf Plan by Alfredo Esquillo, Jr. was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in May this year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 61,440.00 (€ 7,364.27) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 48,000.00 – 62,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfredo Esquillo, Jr. have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Clouds, Expecting; The Drama, Unfolding in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,033.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Golf Plan von Alfredo Esquillo, Jr. kam im Mai diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 61.440,00 (€ 7.364,27) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 48.000,00 – 62.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfredo Esquillo, Jr. auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Clouds, Expecting; The Drama, Unfolding im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 36.033,52).
