It achieved a price of HKD 187,500.00 (€ 18,354.15), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alfredo Esquillo, Jr.; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot The Clouds, Expecting; The Drama, Unfolding sold at auction in October 2014 with the realized price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 36,033.52).
