Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Clarividencia by Alfredo Castañeda was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2014. Here, the upper estimate of USD 22,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 22,500.00 (€ 16,495.60). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Castañeda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Nave (El Arca) in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 352,000.00 (€ 265,440.01).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Clarividencia von Alfredo Castañeda kam im Mai 2014 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 22.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 22.500,00 (€ 16.495,60) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Castañeda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Nave (El Arca) im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 352.000,00 (€ 265.440,01).
