Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Aniversario by Alfredo Castañeda. The price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 21,173.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfredo Castañeda achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Nave (El Arca) in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 352,000.00 (€ 265,440.01).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Aniversario von Alfredo Castañeda zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 21.173,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfredo Castañeda erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Nave (El Arca) im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 352.000,00 (€ 265.440,01).
