Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La Plaine de Veneux-Nadon, vue des Sablons by Alfred Sisley was sold in the Modern Day Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 327,600.00 (€ 305,283.76) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Sisley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Effet De Neige À Louveciennes in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 7,358,750.00 (€ 8,623,728.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La Plaine de Veneux-Nadon, vue des Sablons von Alfred Sisley wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Day Auction bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 305.283,76) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Sisley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Effet De Neige À Louveciennes im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.358.750,00 (€ 8.623.728,62).
