Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfred Sisley could be acquired at Il Ponte in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures auction, the work Le chemin dans les bois changed hands for EUR 10,000.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 12,000.00 – 14,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Sisley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Effet De Neige À Louveciennes in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 7,358,750.00 (€ 8,623,728.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Sisley konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Il Ponte für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 19th and 20th Century Paintings and Sculptures wechselte die Arbeit Le chemin dans les bois für EUR 10.000,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 12.000,00 – 14.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Sisley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Effet De Neige À Louveciennes im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.358.750,00 (€ 8.623.728,62).
