Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfred Sisley could be acquired at Christies in New York in November this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Graphic Century auction, the work Les Bords De Rivière (Les Oies), From L’Album D’Estampes Originales De La Galerie Vollard (2E Année) changed hands for USD 2,520.00 (€ 2,310.23) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Sisley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Effet De Neige À Louveciennes in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 7,358,750.00 (€ 8,623,728.62).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Sisley konnte im November diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Graphic Century wechselte die Arbeit Les Bords De Rivière (Les Oies), From L’Album D’Estampes Originales De La Galerie Vollard (2E Année) für USD 2.520,00 (€ 2.310,23) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Sisley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Effet De Neige À Louveciennes im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.358.750,00 (€ 8.623.728,62).
