Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work La falaise de Penarth by Alfred Sisley. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 300,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 302,400.00 (€ 344,038.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Sisley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Effet De Neige À Louveciennes in March 2017 with an auction result of GBP 7,358,750.00 (€ 8,623,728.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit La falaise de Penarth von Alfred Sisley zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 300.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 302.400,00 (€ 344.038,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Sisley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Effet De Neige À Louveciennes im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 7.358.750,00 (€ 8.623.728,62).
