Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2014 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Abstract Forms by Alfred Reth. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 32,500.00 (€ 39,430.32) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Alfred Reth have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2006 the work Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 was auctioned for EUR 43,163.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2014 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Abstract Forms von Alfred Reth zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 32.500,00 (€ 39.430,32) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Alfred Reth konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2006 die Arbeit Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 für EUR 43.163,00 versteigert.
