Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La jetée à Quiberon, Port Maria by Alfred Reth was sold in the Impressionist and Modern Art auction at Christies in London in March 2017. The price achieved of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 7,031.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Reth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 43,163.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La jetée à Quiberon, Port Maria von Alfred Reth wurde im März 2017 in der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 7.031,41) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Reth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.163,00.
