This artwork by Alfred Reth achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in March 2020. In the Modern Art auction, the work La Terrasse sold for EUR 2,860.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Reth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 43,163.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfred Reth erzielte im März 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Modern Art wurde die Arbeit La Terrasse für EUR 2.860,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alfred Reth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Le Jardin Des Plantes, 1926 im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 43.163,00.
