Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfred Jensen could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War to Present auction, the work Warm and Cold Polarities changed hands for USD 22,500.00 (€ 20,632.74) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alfred Jensen achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Heaven; Per I and II in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 477,750.00 (€ 352,973.77).
