Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Prismatic Magic by Alfred Jensen was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2019. The price achieved of USD 47,500.00 (€ 43,558.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Heaven; Per I and II in September 2013 with an auction result of USD 477,750.00 (€ 352,973.77).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Prismatic Magic von Alfred Jensen kam im September 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 47.500,00 (€ 43.558,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfred Jensen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Heaven; Per I and II im September 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 477.750,00 (€ 352.973,77).
