Auction result well in line with expectations

It changed hands for a price of GBP 998.75 (€ 1,674.43) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred H. Vickers have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The ferry in May 2003 with an auction result of GBP 4,935.00 (€ 6,875.70).
