This work of art by Alfred H. Vickers could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2003 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British and Victorian Pictures auction, the work An industrial coastal town changed hands for GBP 1,410.00 (€ 1,420.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfred H.
