This work without title by Alexander Liberman was sold in the Contemporary Art auction at Sothebys in New York in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 8,190.00 (€ 6,974.37), 37% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alexander Liberman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Solstice Vii in March 2017 with an auction result of USD 40,000.00 (€ 37,390.17).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alexander Liberman wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 8.190,00 (€ 6.974,37) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alexander Liberman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Solstice Vii im März 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 40.000,00 (€ 37.390,17).
