The work Marianne and Pat by Alex Prager was auctioned at Phillips in London in January last year. It achieved a price of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,832.86), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 34%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Alex Prager achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Crowd #2 (Emma) in April 2015 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,192.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 34 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Marianne and Pat von Alex Prager kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.832,86) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Alex Prager erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Crowd #2 (Emma) im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.192,26).
