This work without title by Alex Hubbard was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in New York in March 2021. The »bidding war« ended at USD 25,200.00 (€ 21,459.59), 68% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alex Hubbard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dead In Pompeii in October 2013 with an auction result of GBP 98,500.00 (€ 116,426.22).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 68 % übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Alex Hubbard wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 25.200,00 (€ 21.459,59) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alex Hubbard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dead In Pompeii im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 98.500,00 (€ 116.426,22).
