Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November 2014 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary, which included the work En Gare by Alejandro Obregón. The »bidding war« ended at USD 149,000.00 (€ 119,794.18), 24% above the upper estimate. Other works by Alejandro Obregón have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 252,000.00 (€ 234,833.66) in May last year for the work Bodegón.

Im November 2014 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art Modern & Contemporary durch, in der auch die Arbeit En Gare von Alejandro Obregón zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 149.000,00 (€ 119.794,18) und damit 24% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Alejandro Obregón haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 252.000,00 (€ 234.833,66) im Mai letzten Jahres für die Arbeit Bodegón beobachtet.
