In May 2021 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Marion Lambert, which included the work Taurin by Aldo Mondino. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 16,250.00 35% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Aldo Mondino have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tappeti stesi in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,528.79).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2021 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Marion Lambert durch, in der auch die Arbeit Taurin von Aldo Mondino zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 16.250,00 und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Aldo Mondino auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tappeti stesi im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.528,79).
