Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II, which included the work Tappeti stesi by Aldo Mondino. The price achieved of EUR 30,240.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Aldo Mondino - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tappeti stesi, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,528.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tappeti stesi von Aldo Mondino zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 30.240,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Aldo Mondino mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tappeti stesi beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.528,79) versteigert wurde.
