Auction result well in line with expectations
In June last year Christies in Milan held the auction 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II, which included the work Pèssah by Aldo Mondino. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,300.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Aldo Mondino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Tappeti stesi in October 2018 with an auction result of GBP 68,750.00 (€ 77,528.79).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni letzten Jahres führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pèssah von Aldo Mondino zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.300,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Aldo Mondino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Tappeti stesi im Oktober 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 68.750,00 (€ 77.528,79).
