This artwork by Albert Neuhuys achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2002. In the 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART auction, the work Admiring the artist's work: a lady in an artist's studio sold for EUR 8,365.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Albert Neuhuys; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Young Love sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of EUR 14,400.00.

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Albert Neuhuys erzielte im April 2002 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART wurde die Arbeit Admiring the artist's work: a lady in an artist's studio für EUR 8.365,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Albert Neuhuys; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Young Love im Oktober 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 14.400,00.
