Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Knitting Lesson by Albert Neuhuys was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in October 2007. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Albert Neuhuys - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Young Love, which sold at auction in October 2006 for EUR 14,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Knitting Lesson von Albert Neuhuys kam im Oktober 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Albert Neuhuys mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Young Love beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für EUR 14.400,00 versteigert wurde.
