Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The family at the table by Albert Neuhuys was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in October 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 828.75 (€ 981.84) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Albert Neuhuys achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Young Love in October 2006 with an auction result of EUR 14,400.00.

Die Arbeit The family at the table von Albert Neuhuys kam im Oktober 2021 bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 828,75 (€ 981,84) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Albert Neuhuys erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Young Love im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 14.400,00.
