Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2014 a collector was able to acquire the work Flowered Interior by Akim Monet for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 3,032.53). This price was achieved in the auction Contemporary Art Day Auction at Sothebys in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Akim Monet have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2006 by the work Cave Cathedral at USD 6,600.00 (€ 4,977.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2014 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Flowered Interior von Akim Monet für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 3.032,53) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction bei Sothebys in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Akim Monet wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2006 die Arbeit Cave Cathedral mit USD 6.600,00 (€ 4.977,00).
