Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work "#528", 2014. by Åke E:son Lindman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 15,000.00 – 20,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 8,000.00 (€ 782.06). Admittedly, works by Åke E:son Lindman have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Flatiron Building, NYC", 1997. in June 2020 with an auction result of SEK 75,000.00 (€ 7,172.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit "#528", 2014. von Åke E:son Lindman im November 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 15.000,00 – 20.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 8.000,00 (€ 782,06) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Åke E:son Lindman auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Flatiron Building, NYC", 1997. im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 75.000,00 (€ 7.172,11).
