Despite a disappointment, a good price for Åke E:son Lindman
When the work "Flatiron Building, NYC", 1997. by Åke E:son Lindman was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 80,000.00 – 100,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 75,000.00 (€ 7,172.11). Despite this disappointing result, "Flatiron Building, NYC", 1997. is the most expensive artwork by Åke E:son Lindman that we have observed at auction so far.
Trotz Enttäuschung ein guter Preis für Åke E:son Lindman
Als die Arbeit "Flatiron Building, NYC", 1997. von Åke E:son Lindman im Juni 2020 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 80.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 75.000,00 (€ 7.172,11) den Besitzer. Trotz dieses enttäuschenden Ergebnisses ist "Flatiron Building, NYC", 1997. das teuerste Kunstwerk von Åke E:son Lindman, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
