Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Per Colorado by Afro was auctioned at Il Ponte in November last year. The result of EUR 50,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Afro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Porta Portese in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Per Colorado von Afro kam im November letzten Jahres bei Il Ponte zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 50.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Afro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Porta Portese im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18).
