The work Paesaggio rosso (Red Landscape) by Afro was worth EUR 302,400.00 to a buyer in April last year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam at Christies in Amsterdam and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 60,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Afro - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Porta Portese, which sold at auction in November 2012 for USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).

Die Arbeit Paesaggio rosso (Red Landscape) von Afro war einem Käufer im April letzten Jahres EUR 302.400,00 wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th/21st Century: Amsterdam bei Christies in Amsterdam erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 60.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Afro mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Porta Portese beobachtet, die im November 2012 für USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18) versteigert wurde.
