Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Natura morta by Afro was auctioned at Christies in Paris in June this year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 10,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 10,710.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Afro achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Porta Portese in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Natura morta von Afro kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 10.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 10.710,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Afro erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Porta Portese im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18).
