The work Verde di sera by Afro was sold in the 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I auction at Christies in June last year. It achieved a price of EUR 94,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35 %. Admittedly, works by Afro have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Porta Portese in November 2012 with an auction result of USD 938,500.00 (€ 721,368.18).

Die Arbeit Verde di sera von Afro wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion 20th/21st Century Milan Online Sale Part I bei Christies versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 94.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Afro auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Porta Portese im November 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 938.500,00 (€ 721.368,18).
