Auction result misses estimated price range
In June this year a collector was able to acquire the work Holland America Line/Statendam by Adriaan van 'T Hoff for USD 1,088.00 (€ 996.34). This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adriaan van 'T Hoff achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work L'Archer, vers 1928 in March 2011 with an auction result of EUR 25,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Holland America Line/Statendam von Adriaan van 'T Hoff für USD 1.088,00 (€ 996,34) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adriaan van 'T Hoff erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit L'Archer, vers 1928 im März 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 25.000,00.
