Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled (Who is Queen?) by Adam Pendleton was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October last year. The price achieved of USD 11,340.00 (€ 11,415.34) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Adam Pendleton achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Untitled (Days) in November last year with an auction result of USD 604,800.00 (€ 585,876.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Who is Queen?) von Adam Pendleton kam im Oktober letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.340,00 (€ 11.415,34) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Adam Pendleton erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Untitled (Days) im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 604.800,00 (€ 585.876,20).
