Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 12,064.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Abraham Mintchine have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Musician With Parakeet in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 110,500.00 (€ 84,765.27).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 12.064,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Abraham Mintchine auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Musician With Parakeet im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 110.500,00 (€ 84.765,27).
