Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 Artcurial held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work La Gare - Circa 1928 by Abraham Mintchine. The price achieved of EUR 35,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Mintchine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musician With Parakeet, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 110,500.00 (€ 84,765.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2015 führte Artcurial die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Gare - Circa 1928 von Abraham Mintchine zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 35.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham Mintchine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Musician With Parakeet beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 110.500,00 (€ 84.765,27) versteigert wurde.
