The »bidding war« ended at GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,832.66), 58% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Abraham Mintchine - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Musician With Parakeet, which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 110,500.00 (€ 84,765.27).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.832,66) und damit 58% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Abraham Mintchine mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Musician With Parakeet beobachtet, die im November 2010 für USD 110.500,00 (€ 84.765,27) versteigert wurde.
