Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 50,000.00 (€ 45,335.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Korakrit Arunanondchai - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (History Painting), which sold at auction in October 2015 for GBP 96,100.00 (€ 134,419.90).
