This artwork by Zhou Changjiang achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Shanghai in October 2015. In the Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) auction, the work Complementation 13.10 sold for CNY 325,000.00 (€ 46,592.56) - well above the upper estimate of CNY 160,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhou Changjiang - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Complementation 99.2, which sold at auction in April 2015 for CNY 750,000.00 (€ 108,313.92).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhou Changjiang erzielte im Oktober 2015 bei Christies in Shanghai einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asian And Western 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Evening Sale) wurde die Arbeit Complementation 13.10 für CNY 325.000,00 (€ 46.592,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von CNY 160.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhou Changjiang mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Complementation 99.2 beobachtet, die im April 2015 für CNY 750.000,00 (€ 108.313,92) versteigert wurde.
