Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhou Changjiang could be acquired at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2015 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work Complementary - Heavenity And Humanity changed hands for HKD 75,000.00 (€ 8,762.00) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhou Changjiang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Complementation 99.2 in April 2015 with an auction result of CNY 750,000.00 (€ 108,313.92).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhou Changjiang konnte im Oktober 2015 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wechselte die Arbeit Complementary - Heavenity And Humanity für HKD 75.000,00 (€ 8.762,00) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhou Changjiang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Complementation 99.2 im April 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CNY 750.000,00 (€ 108.313,92).
