Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Embrace After One Second by Zhong Biao was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in June 2016. It achieved a price of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 9,493.41), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 16%. Admittedly, works by Zhong Biao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marksman in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 121,000.00 (€ 76,558.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Embrace After One Second von Zhong Biao kam im Juni 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 9.493,41) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 16%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhong Biao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marksman im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 121.000,00 (€ 76.558,05).
