The vivid impression I have of Mr.Schoeni as a wise person of positive thinking and great humour has kept on re-appearing in my mind.His contribution towards the global promotion of Chinese art has been unfathomable.Indeed he has charted a prominent place in the course of history.
In 1997，with his encouragement and assistance I was able to hold my first solo exhibition and have my first catalogue published.His support is the most valuable asset I have even had in my life.What I have achieved nowadays owes entirely to the nurturing and promotional work done by Schoeni Art Gallery.All these years whenever I thought of Mr.Schoeni，I would work even harder as if one day I had to present to him my work for examination.In a way he had become a father figure to me.

This artwork by Zhong Biao achieved an unexpectedly high price at China Guardian in Hong Kong in October 2017. In the The Schoeni Family Collection auction, the work Dynasty（Triptych）(Painted In 1995) sold for HKD 295,000.00 (€ 32,468.23) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zhong Biao - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marksman, which sold at auction in March 2008 for USD 121,000.00 (€ 76,558.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 97 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhong Biao erzielte im Oktober 2017 bei China Guardian in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion The Schoeni Family Collection wurde die Arbeit Dynasty（Triptych）(Painted In 1995) für HKD 295.000,00 (€ 32.468,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Zhong Biao mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marksman beobachtet, die im März 2008 für USD 121.000,00 (€ 76.558,05) versteigert wurde.
