Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Height by Zhong Biao was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 52,920.00 (€ 6,398.41). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhong Biao achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Marksman in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 121,000.00 (€ 76,558.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Height von Zhong Biao kam im April letzten Jahres bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 52.920,00 (€ 6.398,41) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhong Biao erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Marksman im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 121.000,00 (€ 76.558,05).
