The work MADRID by Zhong Biao was auctioned at Christies in Shanghai in September 2019. It achieved a price of CNY 114,000.00 (€ 14,625.03), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 43%. Admittedly, works by Zhong Biao have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Marksman in March 2008 with an auction result of USD 121,000.00 (€ 76,558.05).

Die Arbeit MADRID von Zhong Biao kam im September 2019 bei Christies in Shanghai zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von CNY 114.000,00 (€ 14.625,03) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 43%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhong Biao auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Marksman im März 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 121.000,00 (€ 76.558,05).
