In May 2010 Phillips in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Part II, which included the work Dog by Zheng Delong. The »bidding war« ended at USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,180.05), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Zheng Delong - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Soul (06.08), which sold at auction in October 2006 for GBP 28,800.00 (€ 43,029.77).

Im Mai 2010 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Contemporary Art Part II durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dog von Zheng Delong zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 17.180,05) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Zheng Delong mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Soul (06.08) beobachtet, die im Oktober 2006 für GBP 28.800,00 (€ 43.029,77) versteigert wurde.
