Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Zhao Bo could be acquired at Phillips in London in September 2009 for an unexpectedly low price. In the NOW: Art of the 21st Century auction, the work Year of the Horse; Female No. 3 changed hands for GBP 3,125.00 (€ 3,418.49) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,500.00 – 4,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Zhao Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Frozen Planet No. 2 in April this year with an auction result of HKD 108,000.00 (€ 110,289.13).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Zhao Bo konnte im September 2009 bei Phillips in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion NOW: Art of the 21st Century wechselte die Arbeit Year of the Horse; Female No. 3 für GBP 3.125,00 (€ 3.418,49) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.500,00 – 4.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Zhao Bo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Frozen Planet No. 2 im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 108.000,00 (€ 110.289,13).
