The work Calligraphy In Lishu by Zhang Tingji was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. It achieved a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,044.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 48%. Admittedly, works by Zhang Tingji have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Calligraphy In Standard Script in November 2015 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 76,334.97).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 48 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Calligraphy In Lishu von Zhang Tingji kam im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.044,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 48%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Zhang Tingji auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Calligraphy In Standard Script im November 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 76.334,97).
